If you are interested in learning more about volunteering with the Upper St. Clair Volunteer Fire Department, please enter your information below and one of our members will reach out to you to schedule an in-person meeting to answer any questions, provide you with an overview of the department and what you can expect, and give you a tour of the station and equipment.

Minimum Requirements
- 16 years of age for Junior Firefighter Eligibility
- 18 years of age for Active Firefighter Eligibility
- Valid Work Permit (under 18 years of age)
- Valid Driver’s License
- Pass a Background Check
Membership Categories
Active and Junior Members go through a recruit training program, attend training, and respond to calls. Administrative Support members provide non-emergency and administrative support including fire and life safety education, fire prevention, pre-planning, community events, and other administrative functions.

If you are ready to volunteer with us, please fill out a Volunteer Application Packet and email it to us at membership@uscvfd.org or drop it off at the Main Fire Station and give the completed application to the Fire Chief or the President.
