ABOUT UPPER ST. CLAIR VOLUNTEER FIRE DEPARTMENT
The Upper St. Clair Volunteer Fire Department has been responsible for providing fire protection, rescue service, and other emergency assistance for the Township since 1939. The Department works out of the Main Station on Rt. 19 and a Sub-Station on Morton Road.
Each year the all volunteer department responds to approximately 300 emergency calls. These include various types of fires such as structures, vehicles, brush, trash, electrical, and fire alarms. The department also answers calls for hazardous materials incidents, vehicle rescue, assistance to Township departments, and mutual aid assistance to fire departments in the surrounding communities.
