EVER WONDERED WHAT IT’S LIKE TO BE A FIREFIGHTER?

The annual Citizens Fire Academy is designed to educate and inform residents about fire department operations and services, fostering a more informed and safety-conscious citizenry.
Participants will be provided with personal protective clothing and perform hose line operations, search for victims, place ground ladders, cut apart a car with the Jaws of Life, force entry, and extinguish a live fire.
This 6-week program is a great opportunity for anyone who may potentially be interested in volunteering to see if joining the Upper St. Clair Volunteer Fire Department is a good fit for you.
The program is open to all Upper St. Clair Residents and Business Owners at least 18 years of age.
